El proyecto musical solista del multifacético periodista Jean Philippe Cretton alista el estreno de su nuevo single, junto al destacado guitarrista de origen chileno.
Crettino es el nombre que da vida al trabajo solista de Jean Philippe Cretton, fuera de su banda Rey Puesto. Su debut como solista fue con el disco conceptual “33” (2018), en el cual se narra el viaje de un protagonista a su realización espiritual. Este trabajo consiguió más de 30 mil visitas en Spotify durante su primer mes y le permitió llevar su música a Estados Unidos con dos fechas en Los Ángeles California.
El estreno del nuevo sencillo, «Demos Vueltas» junto a Alain Johannes, se estrenará vía streaming el viernes 30 de noviembre. Una semana después, el viernes 7 de diciembre, Crettino se presentará en vivo por primera vez en Chile en MiBar, donde aprovechará de estrenar el videoclip oficial de la canción junto a un repertorio de su álbum debut y otras que formarán parte de su próximo EP, “Estamos Unidos” (2019).
Este trabajo fue grabado, mezclado y masterizado en USA por Cristian Robles en la sala 2 de Eastwest Studios, la misma que alguna vez recibió a Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Weezer y Green Day, entre muchos otros artistas.
Fue precisamente en esa instancia, que Jean Philippe tuvo un encuentro con Alain Johannes, guitarrista chileno radicado en Estados Unidos y que tiene un prestigio mundial tremendo, debido a sus colaboraciones con artistas como Chris Cornell, Eddie Vedder, Queen of the Stone Age y Artic Monkeys entre otros, siendo además, quien le enseñó a tocar bajo a Flea, integrante fundador de RHCP.
Sobre la participación de Johannes en el tema ‘Demos Vueltas’, Cretton expresó que “fue una alegría tremenda, porque la calidad de músico que tiene es impresionante y para mí es un honor tener su solo de guitarra en una de mis canciones, particularmente en esta, que musicaliza un sueño que tuve donde vi a un grupo de mujeres danzando en estado de trance alrededor de una deidad”.
El talento de Johannes se mezcla con los sonidos que Crettino ya venía trabajando en su anterior disco “33”, pero más frescos y potentes, dando un aviso en el llamativo giro musical que tendrá su próximo estreno y que abre un nuevo panorama para su extensa carrera musical.
