Aún cuando ha sido un año de exigentes cambios, la decimosexta edición del Festival In-Edit Chile -el único festival en el país dedicado al cine y documental musical- se realizará en diciembre y llegará a todo el país a través de una plataforma online, que estará disponible en su sitio web.
El evento se llevará a cabo desde 2 hasta el 8 de diciembre y, como todos los años, incluirá estrenos internacionales y nacionales, todos ellos referido a música y músicos, de diversos géneros y origen.
Además, existirán cuatro secciones de competencia a cargo de un jurado especializado (internacional, nacional, videoclips y cortometrajes); actividades de industria y charlas, relacionadas con formación y desarrollo del área audiovisual relacionada a música.
En cuanto a la programación completa y sedes en que se exhibirán algunas producciones, esta información se dará a conocer a mediados de noviembre a través del sitio web del festival.
Por otra parte, cabe mencionar que el documental chileno ‘Álvaro: Rockstars don’t wet the bed’, de Jorge Catoni, es parte de la programación de In-Edit Barcelona, que se está realizando por estos días. Este trabajo muestra la vida y obra del rockero y músico experimental Álvaro Peña y obtuvo en 2019 una mención honrosa del jurado de IN-EDIT Chile por la agilidad, sorpresa y emoción de su relato biográfico sobre el cantautor porteño radicado hace décadas en Alemania.
Si te la perdiste, la cinta tendrá un pre-estreno el 13 de noviembre en Miradoc y a partir del jueves 26 de noviembre se estrenará por la misma plataforma para todo el mundo.
